Guardians of Time in Russia!

Guardians of Time will play at the first ProgPower festival in Russia!

We are extremely excited to visit our neighbours in the north and play in the proud country of Russia for the first time! ProgPower are held on October the 16th in Moscow and October the 17th in St.Petersburg. Other bands that will play at the festival are Proghma-C, Adaen, Darkwater, Myrath and Nova Art.

Paul quit Trail of Tears!

Paul have quit as guitarist in Trail of Tears to focus 100% on Guardians of Time.

This is Pauls personal statement:

"Due to my commitment to Guardians of Time, I can no longer give 100% of myself to Trail of Tears. Anything less than everything feels wrong for me when it comes to souch a great band, and I see no other option than to leave the band. My time in Trail of Tears have been a great run. I have been lucky enough to contribute on one of the bands best albums "Bloodstained Endurance" and we have played a lot of great shows together. My last gig with Trail of Tears at Metal Camp in Slovenia a few weeks ago was a good ending for me. We part ways as good friends, and I wish them the best of luck in the future. Now I will focus only on the band that is dearest to my heart, namely Guardians of Time."

A Beautiful Atrocity!

Guardians of Time have now shipped promo packages containing the new album to all the major metal labels out there! Hopefully we will have some negotiations going soon!

In case you don't know, the album was engineered and mixed by Audun Grønnestad, produced by Guardians of Time and Audun Grønnestad. It all took place at Mayhem Music Studio in Norway.

"The album is definitely our best so far, and we are really excited! We can't wait to play these amazing songs live, and share it with our fans!" the band states. The album is entitled “A Beautiful Atrocity” and is a concept album. It continues where "Machines of Mental Design" left off, both musically and lyrically. The story on the album tell the continuing saga of the Guardians of Time, and most of the story take place in the realm of dreams. The album will contain an intro, eleven songs and a bonus track.

New studio diary and YouTube videos!

Two new videos from our studio diary have been uploaded! In part 2 you can see Bernt laying down the vocals, doing his Schwartzeneger impersonation and other weird things... In part 3 the Norwegian country artist Arly Karlsen visit the studio and record the "death row preacher speach" on the album.

We have also uploaded the entire show from when the band played live at the Quart Festival in Kristiansand, Norway in 2004, opening for Slipknot! The Quart show can be found in the YouTube section.
